Business Intelligence Platform Export

Many Market Researchers are now using Business Intelligence Platforms, such as Power BI ®, to assist their stakeholders with survey analysis. Therefore their data exports need to be compatible with these Business Intelligence platforms. We have now added the option to choose the report type Business Intelligence Platform Export when creating a new report for your surveys.

When creating a new report, you will now see the Business Intelligence Platform Export option available when choosing a Report Type for your survey. When creating the report, you will be able to set the parameters of Report Title, Report Filter and Date Range.

When using the Business Intelligence Export, you still have the option to configure your report columns using the Standard Report Columns list. Also, like other report types, you can choose to include specific distributions or questions.

Report scheduling and report upload functionality are also available for the Business Intelligence Platform Export, they can be configured the same way as other report types via the Report Scheduling and Upload Settings in the Create Report browse, or while editing an existing report.

Your chosen report will be generated as an xlsx spreadsheet which will be compatible for uploading to the Power BI ® platform. You can see in the example above the questions What is your gender? and What is your location have been selected in this report. The column Country has been selected as a standard report column.

In the example above you can see the Business Intelligence Export has now been uploaded to the Power BI platform ®. The three columns Country, What is your gender? and What is your location? are selectable in the Fields section and can now be used for visualisations, as seen in the displayed pie chart.
